Food waste— it is one of the problems that the every nation is facing. Despite the strict rules in your diet, you can’t avoid the fact that you are engorged, so it results to not finishing your food instead. We often think that climate change is also the result of the greenhouse effect, vehicles, transportation machinery, factories and garbage—but no. Think again.
Actually, anything that is thrown away or wasted in the environment has a significant relationship to our climate change. That’s the reason why food waste is the leading cause of the changes happening in the world. Yes, you read it right. It’s actually the food that is thrown away even if it is edible and safe to consume. Unfortunately. In the United States, almost 40% of the produced food never gets eaten and will go to trash, which is equivalent for roughly 365 million pounds a day. Truthfully, if the food waste is, let us say, a country or a nation, well, it will be the 3rd largest contributor of carbon dioxide on earth after the China and USA. Imagine that scenario!
On the contrary while people are throwing food, there are at least 1 on 8 American people that has no stable food source on their table.
In order to produce a healthy and quality-fined food products, it does takes a long process from the agricultural raw materials down to the factories and then to our grocery stores. Furthermore, the moment it was thrown away, it would be very painful for the farmers and agriculturist who cultivated the raw materials, and you did not consume it like it deserved to be.
The moment the food waste is rotting, not only it looks gross, but it is also omitting carbon dioxide as much as possible, then your beloved earth is slowly dying with all the the throwned foods.
